Fusion Z
This company is literally
a “fusion” of outstanding American and European
designs with the finest glass-blowing craftsmanship of Europe. Most of
Fusion Z’s pieces are designed in the northern California studio, while
some are creations of the European artists and glass masters they work
with. Since the conception of the company, Fusion Z has worked with
glass studios in Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, Italy, Taiwan and
China. Fusion Z has made a commitment to support the artists and
craftspeople whose talented hands and minds bring their exclusive
designs to life.
“We set out to be UNIQUE in the marketplace by
crating a sophisticated
cohesive collection of
original mouth blown glass. We believe that
being
specialized and focused on this particular
category gives us a tremendous
advantage and
deep understanding of the medium and
subsequently
offers a wide range of style and
value to our customers.”

Agnes & Hoss
Agnes & Hoss designer, Stephanie Waddell, has a curious mind and
countless stories to tell. These stories are told through her printed fabric
designs, which she applies to accessories collections ranging from
handbags and scarves to pillows and lighting. Armed with a painting
degree from Dartmouth College and a lifelong entrancement with the
use of pattern and color, Stephanie transitioned naturally into the print
and textile arena. Her use of silk originates from the material’s ability to
capture the imagination by reflecting color and embodying a sense of
old-world luxury. Her use of rich, vibrant colors is born from the belief that color should be embraced year-round. Color is a simple, vital force that lifts the spirits…it is a wonder we so often reject it.
The Agnes & Hoss name derives from two lowly dogs from Stephanie’s ancestry, whose untold story tugs at her imagination. Her muses? No, but curiosities nevertheless.

Mitchel & Mitchel
The Mitchel & Mitchel collection is created from raw metals with finishings
that enhance the natural quality of the alloys used. The artists infuse bronze
to simulate gold highlights and use natural oxidants to accomplish
one-of-a-kind finishes. Hand-finished waxes are used on bamboo surfaces,
and heat treatment is used to achieve unique coloration.
“Each piece in
the Mitchel & Mitchel collection has a unique story. We are sensitive to
respect the materials used, working with them to maximize their natural
beauty and create an individual mood and a unique work of art,” said
Cathy Mitchel, a partner in the design team. This describes the Mitchel’s
unique designs which use raw metals with finishings that enhance the
natural quality of the alloys used.

Zia-Priven Design
Clean lines, elegant proportions and luxurious materials are the trademarks
of a Zia-Priven Design. Inspired by dramatic interiors of the ‘30’s and ‘40’s,
the husband and wife design team redefines modern glamour with a
simple, refined aesthetic.
Marcia Zia, an Emmy nominated set decorator,
and Paul Priven, a first assistant director, met while working on a film in Los
Angeles. Their debut line in 2000 introduced the market to Zia-Priven
Design’s modern interpretation of classic lighting. This sophisticated
pendant series featured Italian glass and Czech crystal finials beneath silk
dupioni shades. Further collections incorporated table and floor lamps
with Lucite, sensual glass finials and elegant, elongated silhouettes. With
their most recent designs of dramatic, large-scale pendant chandeliers,
Zia-Priven Design cemented their reputation as a studio specializing in
modern glamour.
Their work has been featured in numerous design show
houses, restaurants and hotels as well as Interior Design Magazine,
Architectural Digest, the New York Times and many more. Their most
recent completed projects include designs for Wynn Casino, Donald
Trump’s Apprentice (Seasons IV and V) and Martha Stewart’s Apprentice.
